All-Inclusive Resorts Benefits

All-inclusives can be a very good value. One price up-front covers everything. There are no tips or gratuities. and you know exactly what your vacation will cost you.

In addition to your room, one price includes:

Air (optional)
Meals/Snacks
Beverages and alcoholic drinks
Many onsite activities including beach activities and water-sports
Evening entertainment
Babysitting and children's programs for all ages
Fitness centers

Larger resorts have multiple restaurants and the more expensive ones have sit-down
dining, while the others have excellent buffet dining.

There is almost always an extra charge for spa treatments; scuba, golf, or tennis lessons; and off-site excursions, etc.

BUT.......Is An All Inclusive For You?

Definitely "Yes" if you:

Want to spend most of your time just relaxing in one location
Like to imbibe a little
Want a good family vacation with the kids (choose a family resort)
Like nightlife Enjoy the sun, the beach and water activities (for beach resorts)

Probably "No" if you:

Like to move around and see a whole region and sample local dining
Don't drink at all
Are on a strict diet!
Don't enjoy beach or water activities

Will you use what's included? If you think you'll use everything a resort offers, even a pricey package can be a great value. A resort might seem expensive, but if you take advantage of all the included extras - scuba diving, waterskiing lessons, sailing and drinks - it could be a bargain.

Will you want what's NOT included? If you plan on playing golf at a resort, but the lower rate covers everything except golf, you are better off going to a resort that cost more, but includes the expensive round of golf.

At an all-inclusive, the more you use all the resort activities and amenities, the better the value..

Non All-Inclusive Resort Benefits

These resorts also come in every size to fit any budget, but you pay for just what you want
and not for anything you don't want.
